In a thrilling display of cricket, Sri Lanka claimed a decisive victory in the 3rd Test against England. Srilanka marking a memorable moment for the team. The star of the match was Pathum Nissanka, who delivered a masterclass with the bat, scoring a century that played a pivotal role in Sri Lanka’s triumph.

The game, held at Oval stadium, saw Sri Lanka dominate with both bat and ball. England, after winning the toss and electing to bat, put up a decent total on the board, but Sri Lanka’s bowling attack kept them in check. Despite strong resistance from England’s middle order, they were bowled out for a competitive score. Srilanka’s winning way
In reply to that Srilanka started well but due to the lower order falure they only got 263 runs. This gave England a lead of 62 runs and made them strong in the test match. But the Srilankan bowling attack all around Engand team in the second innings, bundled them out for just 156 runs. Lahiru Kumara out performed with 4 wickets and V Fernando supported him with 3 wickets.
Srilanka started 2nd innings in a very positive intent as they can win this match and go for next series with positive mindset. Eventhough opener karunaratne falls early, Nissanka and Kusal Mendis played well and closed the day with 94/1 on day 3.

Today Mendis got out fot atkinson and england tried to be in the game. The experienced Angelo Mathews moved the innings with settled Nissanka and helped to reach target.
